Gemian Linage Tree

Here at the G.E.R.M Research Division, we are uncovering various artifacts relating to the culture of the Crystal Gems, and more importantly, the so called "Crystal Tribunal" or "Gemians.

What we have here is a translated parchment that describes the lineage of the Crystal Tribunal (otherwise known as the House of DITOROQU (Die-Tow-Row-Qu)). Unlike basic Gems which could not reproduce, the Gemians could, many of which carry vast power.  Here are some important details about the parchment above:

1. The top of the tree displays GEMA, The Crystal Mother, or Gemia, she was the one who defeated the Obsidian Leviathan and sacrificed her physical form to create her children. All Gemians are descendants of her.

2. Diamond's line (The House of DIONPEZI (Die-On-Peh-Zie) is shown to result from generations of inbreeding. It is believed that the result of such a drastic method lead to his linage's weakness in power, eventually making them no different than a Crystal Gem, it is also believed that the latest generation Zirconia (ZI) would be as powerful as a basic human as a result of this.

3. Topaz's line (The House of TOLALAEMMOSU (Toe-La-La-Em-Moo-Sue) is composed of Topaz and their 4 children, each composed over a single element. Lapiz Lazuli (LALA) is Water, Emerald (EM) is Earth, Moonstone (MO) is Wind, and Sunstone (SU) is Fire. As of now, due to the mystery behind Topaz's physiology is it currently unknown how and with whom did they conceive these children.

4. Rose's line (The House of ROQU (Row-Qu) is composed of Rose and her mate, a ex-Metalian by the name of Copper (although current information reveals he goes by the human name of "Greg Universe"). Both of them conceived a child by the name of Quartz (although current information reveals he goes by the name of "Steven Universe"), who in turn began a relationship with a human woman named "Connie Maheswaran". It is believed that the two have conceived two children, but the current whereabouts of those children are unknown.

5. At the bottom of the tree is The Obsidian Leviathan (Also known as OB). Not much is know about this creature, but it is believed to have been killed by Gemia eons ago.
